Dr. Xiaomin Li, Professor. She was the awardee of the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) from Australian Research Council, and Guangdong Special Support Plan for High-Level Young Talents of Science and Technology Innovation. Her research areas include biogeochemistry, environmental microbiology, and soil pollution control. She has been committed to the microbial-chemical coupling mechanisms of iron redox cycling in the environment and, their effects on the transformation of contaminants such as organochlorines, arsenic, and cadmium in soils. She is the principal investigator (PI) of eleven research grants, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China Project (NSFC), Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, and Australian Research Council Grant. She was one of the awardees of the First Award of Science and Technology in Guangdong, China (2005, 2019). She is an Academic Editor of PeerJ. She has published more than 90 SCI papers in various international peer-reviewed journals, such as Environmental Science & Technology, Soil Biology & Biochemistry, Chemical Geology, Environmental Science: Nano, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Energy & Environmental Science, etc.
