Dr. Bo Yan, Professor of environmental engineering. He received grants from Guangdong Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar, “Guangdong Te Zhi program” youth science and technology talent of project, Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also serves as Deputy Director of key Laboratory of Environmental Resources Utilization and Protection in Guangdong Province, member of Environmental Protection Committee of China rare Earth Society and member of Guangdong Provincial Sustainable Development Association. He is mainly engaged in the environmental protection of waste/wastewater, ecological restoration and comprehensive utilization of resources theory and technology research, and some innovative achievements and recognition have been achieved in the fields of comprehensive utilization of tailings resources, remediation of heavy metal pollution in soil, treatment and reuse of industrial wastewater. More than 30 projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the leading project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the key projects of Guangdong Science and Technology, and the entrustment of enterprises, have been conducted or completed. The related research results have been published in more than 60 research papers and 10 patents. He is committed to the combination of theory and practice of environmental engineering, and has rich experience in the design, implementation and management of environmental engineering technology. He has chaired and completed more than 10 waste water/waste environmental treatment projects. The related achievements won the second prize of science and technology of China nonferrous metal industry, and the second prize of scientific and technological progress of Shaoguan City.
