Dr. Qianqian Zhang, Associate Professor. Her research interests focus on the fate modeling of chemicals, including the emission estimation, multimedia fate modeling and risk assessment of typical emerging pollutants at river basin scale. She is currently conducting research in the basic theory and key technology of chemical management at the river basin scale. She reported for the first time the national consumption, emission and environmental contamination of antibiotics and steroids in whole China, and also reported the relationship between the bacterial resistance rates and the antibiotic usages and environmental concentrations. These publications have received increasing attention in China and abroad. She has published 18 SCI papers and one paper ranked in the ESI HOT Paper and TOP 1% paper list. Now, she is undertaking one research project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and participating in programs of the NSFC, National Water Pollution Control and Treatment Science and Technology Major Project, Key Research and Development Program Project of Guangdong Province. She was awarded a hundred Excellent Doctoral Dissertations of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016.
